The Floor

Over the past week, our Regular Volunteers along with youth from Wando JROTC have continued working on the floor. The Regulars finished framing the floor and began installing the floor joists. Then the Wando High School group continued with the joists and started laying the OSB, so we can now walk on the floor in some areas. Exciting!
On Saturday, I learned that working with a group of high school aged kids is exhausting. I don't think I ever had that much energy. We made it through the day with only two relatively harmless incidents, so not bad!
We had great weather on Saturday. I think it may have hit 70 and I even got a little sun burn. I hope this nice weather stays around!
